Upcoming EventsLaTeX Seminar - Date TBDThe Queens College Mathematical Society is planning on conducting an introductory level seminar on typesetting in LaTeX. Anyone wishing to write or publish papers in mathematics, which means all students seeking more than an undergraduate education in mathematics, will need to know LaTeX, so if you're unfamiliar with it, this talk should provide the basics.Student Conference - POSTPONEDKiely Hall Room 508
Faculty Lecture (date:TBA)We are attempting to contact retired professor Doctor Gerald Itzkowitz, in hopes that he will give a talk on a topic suggested by the Queens College Mathematical Society. If you'd like to submit an idea for a topic see the contacts page. Keep in mind that Doctor Itzkowitz is primarily an Analyst and Topologist, specializing in Topological Groups and Uniform Space theory.Faculty Lecture (date:TBA)We are attempting to contact Doctor Ravi Kulkarni in hopes he will give a talk on a topic suggested by the Queens College Mathematical Society.
